Recipe Blogs & Websites- (updated 17 October 2012)

Since cutting out foods from my diet, I have spent countless hours searching for recipes that don’t need huge amounts of modification. There is almost always one item for which I need to substitute in an allergen-friendly product. There are some blogs and websites that have some amazing, easily modified, recipes. Check out the list below.

Gluten-free Goddess– Karina’s blog is an incredible gluten-free resource. She is also an amazing writer. Some of my favorite recipes from her site include the vegan coleslaw with peanut dressing and the almost sausalito cookie bars.
Healthful Pursuit
– Leanne has some incredibly healthy and delicious recipes. I love all the smoothies. I also love that she has an allergen list at the beginning of each recipe so you know what the recipe is free of.
Simply Sugar & Gluten Free
– The name says it all. Gluten-free and sugar-free desserts are easier than people would have you think. Amy’s recipes are delicious, evidenced by my regular consumption of her Chewy Chocolate Vegan Date Brownies (sans the coffee and xantham gum)
My Pinterest
– In addition to this blog, I have a pinterest board for individual recipes I find here and there.
NEW Roost Blog – I have been incorporating more and more raw recipes into my diet. This blog is BEAUTIFUL, and offers some great raw and grain free desserts.
NEW Earthsprout – My newest find, and while I haven’t even tried a recipe off the blog yet I am excited enough to share it with you.
